on HFAI Cloud.
The provider form, filled in for this endpoint.
An agent that lives in your editor.
Its own wording,
and the form it asks you to fill.
Cline's documentation describes it as an AI coding agent that lives in your editor and in your terminal. Its provider page treats OpenAI-compatible endpoints as a first-class case rather than a workaround, and asks for the same three values it asks of any such endpoint: the base URL, the API key, and the identifier of the model to call. Checked against docs.cline.bot.
| Field | Value for this endpoint |
|---|---|
| Base URL | https://api.heartflowai.net/v1 |
| API Key | hfai_live_… |
| Model ID | gpt-oss:120b |
Drop those values into the OpenAI Compatible provider form, choose one of the catalogue's models, and Cline drives it through the same chat completion any other compatible client sends. Changing models afterwards means changing the identifier alone, because the endpoint and the key are already saved.
Cline is an independent project with its own maintainers and its own release cycle. This page is ours rather than theirs: HeartFlowAI is not affiliated with Cline, is not endorsed by it, and ships none of its code.
One form, any model.
The endpoint stays put;
the identifier moves.
Because the identifier is a free text field, Cline can address any row of the catalogue from the same provider entry and the same key.
Everything the client sends is documented in the API reference; the money side is on HFAI Cloud and Pricing, and GPT-OSS 120B is free to try.
Your editor, your key.
Cline reads the same three values every other OpenAI-compatible client reads, so the entry you fill in here can be copied to another editor.
